Our History
Background
Junior Achievers Trust International – Seeks to provide young people with practical Economics education programmes and experiences in the private enterprise system through a partnership with Business and Education Communities. Track Record Junior Achievers Trust International has been in existence since 1994, and currently operates in 10 regions reaching 200 schools with over 15,000 students. It runs four programmes in the schools; Business Basics, Applied Economics, Young Business Venture Programme and the Globe. There are geared towards giving students practical entrepreneurial skills to be workforce ready. Achievements JATI has achieved the following among others:
· Partnership with seven (7) local companies eg. Total Ghana Ltd Ecobank, GAFCO to mention a few sponsoring some JATI proograms.
· Quality leadership training for students
· Operation of student companies in schools
· Sponsorship for exhibition in Denver, U.S.A 1997
